Ten years ago a team of local people from Wapakoneta got together for one mission: to share the world of God and provide opportunity to the people of Kenya. Little did we know that our first meeting and $100 bank account balance would blossom into a ministry that would not just bring Jesus and hope, but change and save lives to so many.
As we enter our 10th year of ministry we are humbled, grateful, and in awe of all the people we have touched, who in return, have touched our hearts so deeply. Many people think ministry is to help others, and it is. But even more, ministry changes the hearts of those who are doing the serving. Our kind givers and team members in Acacia can attest that not only has it been an honor to help change Africa, but Africa has changed our hearts and lives too.
We will be spending this year sharing with you some highlights over the past ten years, stories of those who have been changed by Acacia, and some new exciting expansions in the ministry too! Together, we will continue changing the world. Thank you!
