During our March 2018 trip to Kenya, we had the humble opportunity to conduct our first clean water course. Because of our Tribe Changers, we were able to purchase 25 family-size water filters to provide to 25 families who live in Kibera Slum. Little did we know that God was working in the lives of the women who attended this course. After the clean water course, the women stayed after to share in chai, bread, and fellowship. That was in March!
With partnership of Mama Regina, a woman that once you meet you will never forget, Acacia of Hope is taking this beautiful group and molding it into the beginnings of our Women of Hope ministry. Recently, a donation was given by a local church to purchase Bibles for this new group as well as our current Men of Hope ministry. We are so thankful for our kind donors!
Women of Hope is a spiritual support system for women in Kenya. Through fellowship, chai, Bibles, and other resources, we aim to empower these women. We are so excited to see what God does with Acacia’s Women of Hope.
Glory goes to God, and only Him.
