Water has many meanings. To some, it means a hot shower after a long day’s work. For others, it is the rains falling onto needy plants. For many in Africa, it is life or death. But for all of us, we are given the same Holy water. Our water filter education courses are a time for us to share our earthly knowledge to those around us, but that is not the only reason why we have them. We have them so we can share our spiritual water too.
…but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. -John 4:14
During our course, we spend time learning about bacteria, filtration, and how to maintain the UZima water filters in their home. The class usually transitions to a host of questions. Our course always ends the same though: in testimony and prayer.
