The “Run for Hope” 5K Walk/Run will start at Harvest Baptist Church (1301 Navajo Trail, Wapakoneta, Ohio 45895). Pre-registration for this event will begin at 8:00am on Saturday, April 23th. Race will begin at 9:00am.
This 5K takes place rain or shine, reminding us that millions of people all over the world must travel in a variety of weather conditions just to get water. The distance of this 5K represents the distance that many men, women, and children walk every day to collect water for their family.
In Africa, women walk an average of three to four miles per day just to collect water from a lake or other body of water. These people then travel miles carrying at least one 40-pound jug to their homes. We believe that every person should have access to clean water, food, and education.
This race is for women & men of all ages and abilities, whether you run, jog, skip, walk or roll. 100% of 
the proceeds will go to providing a variety of iniaitives such as clean water and other necessities that every human being deserves to have.
$100 cash prize for top male & female runner with
medals for top runners in each age group.
