TREE TO CHURCH
AN ACACIA TREE
TURNS TO A
HOUSE OF WORSHIP
In Kenya, congregations often gather under the shade of majestic acacia trees for worship, creating a serene and communal atmosphere. These natural canopies serve as both a physical and symbolic shelter, providing a sacred space where the congregation can come together in fellowship and devotion. The acacia tree, with its broad, spreading branches, becomes a living testament to faith and unity, offering protection from the elements and a sense of grounding as worshippers sing hymns, share teachings, and engage in prayer. This traditional setting fosters a deep connection to nature and community, embodying the spirit of worship in harmony with the land.
Since 2021, our mission has focused on building churches across Africa, with a particular emphasis on remote regions of Kenya. We collaborate with local chiefs to select appropriate locations for the churches and employ local laborers for the construction work. This building not only serves as a church on Sundays but is also evolving into a center for counseling and a potential micro school for the villages too!
