A flushing toilet or a glass of water from the tap — simple conveniences we often take for granted in the Western world. But for millions of people in developing countries, these basic necessities are out of reach — and the consequences are life-threatening.

According to UNICEF, “Nearly half of all people using dirty water live in sub-Saharan Africa” (2015). In places like Kibera, access to clean water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene isn’t just important — it’s essential for survival.

That’s why our mission is clear: provide the tools, education, and resources to change lives — one drop at a time.

Here’s what we’re doing in Kibera:

  • Teaching clean water education courses to promote safe practices

  • Providing safe, filtered water to families and communities

  • Demonstrating proper dental care with toothbrushes and toothpaste

  • Distributing soap and washcloths to children to encourage daily hygiene

  • Supplying clean clothes, including school uniforms, to support dignity and learning

  • Giving reusable sanitary napkins to schoolgirls so they don’t have to miss a single day of school

And that’s just the beginning.
