Acacia of Hope Celebrates Fifth Year Partnering with Elevation Church for LOVE Week

Kibera, Kenya — Acacia of Hope is honored to announce its fifth consecutive year partnering with Elevation Church during its annual LOVE Week initiative, a global movement focused on serving communities, meeting practical needs, and demonstrating the love of Jesus through action.

LOVE Week is a dedicated time when Elevation Church mobilizes thousands of volunteers to make a tangible impact in communities around the world. Built on the belief that love is more than words, LOVE Week encourages people to serve others through acts of compassion, generosity, and hope.

The initiative is inspired by 1 John 3:18, which states, “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

For Acacia of Hope, this partnership has become a meaningful annual opportunity to strengthen the work being done in Kibera, one of Africa’s largest informal settlements. Through the support of Elevation Church volunteers and members, lives have been impacted, relationships have been built, and hope has been shared with children and families in the community.

“We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Elevation Church,” said Melissa Brown of Acacia of Hope. “For five years, we have witnessed what can happen when people choose to put their faith into action. LOVE Week reminds us that real change happens when individuals come together to serve others with humility, compassion, and purpose.”

Acacia of Hope remains committed to serving vulnerable children and families in Kibera through education, community development, and Christ-centered outreach. The organization believes that lasting transformation happens through consistent relationships and practical expressions of God’s love.

As this year’s LOVE Week approaches, Acacia of Hope looks forward to continuing its mission alongside Elevation Church and celebrating the impact that can be made when communities unite to serve.
