The Beginning

Acacia of Hope started in 2012 in the Wapakoneta area with a group of five people who desires to make profound impact in Africa by committing two years to the team.

Stretching

Acacia added their first paid staff members in Kenya in 2014, taking the leap of faith in growing the organization organically.

Growing

Between 2014 and 2014, Acacia has slowly grown in board members and employees, being good stewards of the kind monetary donations given.

Today

Today, our board consists of six members and eight staff members, mostly Kenyan nationals who desire to be part of changing in their own community.
